Was quickly seated. Waitress was amazing. She was waiting on literally half the of the café and keeping drinks filled and keeping everyone happy. Very clean establishment. Very northwoods cozy with lots of seating. Food was hot and delicious! Syrup was served hot in a very heavy glass bottle and stayed hot for well over 20 minutes! Very beautiful presentation of the plated food as well! Perfect sized portions for the price. Will definitely try and come back the next time I'm in the area and excited to bring others with!

My husband and I stopped here for breakfast this morning on our way back to the Milwaukee area. We have never been here, but it was recommended to us after we realized our normal place a bit further north was closed. We are so glad we stopped here!!!! So many great choices, and reasonably priced. The waitress was unbelievably sweet. After my son asked if they had "smiley face pancakes" & ordered regular pancakes when she said they dont, she came back with this and said this was her best attempt at smile face pancakes! When she brought the bill she kept saying there was no rush, she just was a bit busy and didn't want to make us wait for her. I really wish I got her name so I could give her a shout out on here, but hopefully the owner/manager sees this and knows who deserves the recognition. We will be back!

OUTSTANDING! We stumbled upon Era Cafe on a whim—and I’m so glad we did, because it turned out to be one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the warm, modern atmosphere. It felt like the perfect blend of stylish and welcoming—bright, clean, and full of good energy. But what truly set Era Cafe apart was the service. The staff were genuinely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure we felt taken care of. I have some specific dietary restrictions, and they didn’t just accommodate them—they made me feel understood and completely at ease. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and it made the meal all the more memorable. The breakfast itself was fantastic-fresh, flavorful, and made with care. We left full, happy, and already talking about when we could come back. This place is a gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a standout breakfast spot with heart.

Excellent food and service. Lots of options the kids loved and my chicken fried steak was excellent. The side pancake was much larger than expected but fluffy, sweet, and delicious with the warmed maple syrup. This was my first time here, but certainly will not be the last. Prices may seem high, but the quality and quantity of food are absolutely worth it.

We've eaten at both locations and the same goes for the Wausau location: Delicious food and great service. My waffle was tasty (at first I thought it was too small, but it was actually perfectly filling - just enough). The bacon was nice and crispy. The coffee was also very good. Most of the complaints I've read, seem to be about the cost. It is more expensive than other local restaurants, but I feel the food is higher quality for smaller porrtions than what I've experienced. Will definitey be back.

My husband said his skillet was delicious but will have the breakfast potatoes instead of hashbrowns next time. My waffle with fresh fruit and yogurt was excellent and more plentiful than it looks. I'm taking half of it home. Our bottomless cup of coffee was fresh and hot. We had the most pleasant server! Highly recommend!
